After having worked for several major insurance companies, Trevor Honey established CamOuse Financial Services in March 1988. Providing a personal financial planning service for individuals and small business, Trevor quickly established a local client base and worked with other professional advisers. He found the requirements of personal financial needs were often best served when addressed in association with client accountants and solicitors. This has ensured a good working relationship with clients when addressing their whole financial needs.
The complexity of meeting client financial needs has meant an ongoing personal and business development. To help provide high quality research and due diligence, Trevor decided that the business required external support and greater breadth of skills. In consequence, CamOuse Financial Services became a member of Countrywide Independent Advisers, that has subsequently been merged with five other networks that are now collectively known under the Sesame brand.
In 2003, CamOuse Financial Services became a limited company.
To offer the breadth of expertise required by a general practice Independent Financial Advice service, Trevor was initially joined by Kevin Hodgson and Clive Nickalls. To continue with the growth of the business and specialisation required, further qualified advisers Andrew Overitt, Lee Pooley and most recently Michael White have joined the company.
During 2005 CamOuse left Sesame and joined Sesame Select to become directly authorised.
